| Property Info
The Nagle Warren Mansion, one of Cheyenne's most elegant residences, was built by Erasmus Nagle in 1888, and in 1910 became the home of Francis E. Warren, businessman, Governor and U.S. Senator. A beautiful grand piano is the focal point within the Sitting Room. Sage green and white floral wallpaper gracefully compliments the inlaid wood floor. Upholstered chairs and beautiful wood tables create quaint conversation groups within the room. Perfect for entertaining guests or an intimate chat with friends. Volumes of antique books line the walls in this adjoining room to the Sitting Room. Inlaid wood and burgundy wallpaper with soft stripes are a nice match to the inlaid wood floor. A large desk allows you to spread out work or soft comfortable chairs allow you to curl up in front of the fireplace for an evening read. Just inside the front door with plenty of windows and a beautifully stenciled ceiling, the Parlor is just the place for a social gathering. Whether two or 10, this large room has all the comforts you'd expect, like antique sofa and chairs, a fireplace and a beautiful area rug. A fireplace adds both warm and elegance to the room. The picture of elegance, rich golden wallpaper with complementary wainscoting provides a classic background for breakfast, teas or dinners. Stained glass windows create a festive yet warm atmosphere as rich gold and red tones shimmer through with Cheyenne's frequent sunlight. Secluded peace is what this area provides the guests. A privately situated hot tub makes evenings a pleasure in the Nagle Warren Mansion. Or spend the afternoon over tea or coffee in the garden. Discover western gardening at its best] Feel like royalty when you view Cheyenne from the tower on the third floor. Set up as a plush, luxurious reading room, you may find yourself totally distracted from even the most interesting novel by the beauty surrounding you. Sturdy rattan furniture adds a garden-like elegance to the room. Five windows softly draped allow you to control the lighting. And a separate door to the balcony allows you a great view of the stars at night] Always open, the butler's pantry is perfect for late night raids on the cookie jar or a cup of tea or coffee. A fully stocked refrigerator also gives you the choice of juice or pop throughout the day, and well into the evening]
Twelve luxurious rooms await your stay at the Nagle Warren Mansion. The Mansion houses six rooms and the Carriage House hosts the other six. Every room has been uniquely decorated to recreate the elegance of the Victorian West, from the ornate staircases to the authentic period wallpaper to the antique furniture and 19th century-style artwork. But unlike accommodations of the past, this bed and breakfast offers central air conditioning, a private bath, telephone, and television in each guest room. Business travelers will appreciate the two phone lines and data port in each room, as well as the services of the mansion's fully equipped office. |
